Show the faces and backs of three cute little rabbits cards counting them one, two, & three. You explain that the centre rabbit is always playing jokes on you. Take him out and show him both sides back and front of his card, then place him back in the centre position again.
To make sure he behaves, you turn the front rabbit to face him, boxing him in between the other two rabbits as you explain the trick you are about to perform.
When you fan the three rabbits again the audience will be shouting with excitement warning you that the naughty centre rabbit is now upside down and standing on his head. Of course, at first you don’t notice, but when you do, you give the naughty rabbit a good telling off for spoiling your trick. This can be repeated as many times as you think your young audience will enjoy it.
Deciding to start again you put the centre rabbit back in the fan the correct way up and again and box him in with the other two rabbits. Then again fan the cards out and the audience let now you know that the naughty middle rabbit is again standing on his head, but this time he has turned his back to the audience - everyone can see his bushy tail for your laughter-filled climax!
